FAISALABAD (Web Desk) – Five women have been killed in separate incidents in Pakistan on Wednesday.

Three women were shot dead over domestic dispute in Chak 92 of Faisalabad’s Balochni suburb.


Locals gathered at the house to sympathise with the family


A suspect identified as Wahag barged into the house and opened indiscriminate fire, killing his wife Farzana, mother-in-law Zahra and sister Nasreen on the spot.

According to police, the women were murdered over honour.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif took notice of incident and sought report from CPO Faisalabad.

The chief minister ordered CPO to immediately arrest the accused.

Separately, a mutilated body of a woman was recovered from Power House Canal in Shadiwal area of Gujrat.

Police said that face of the victim is beyond recognition.

In Charsadda, a person identified as Abdulrab murdered his wife over a domestic dispute in Sherpao area. The suspect shot himself in the head after the incident.

Police are investigating the incident.
