Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has issued a show-cause notice to its leader Sherry Rehman for participating in a TV show whereas women members of PPP protested and raised slogans against her, outside her residence in Karachi. Sherry Rehman said that she did not know as to why the protest was held out outside her residence. Talking to Dunya News, Ms. Sherry Rehman said that she did not know about the true identity of the protesters. She also doubted their affiliation with PPP. She said that she was defending her party in the show for which she has been issued the notice. She told Dunya News that the notice was issued from the office of the Chief Minister Sindh. She demanded that the government should keep an eye on such protesters as protested outside her residence.
