Police obtain 14 days' physical remand of Uzair Baloch
Anti-terrorism, having explosive material in custody clauses were added in the case against Baloch
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Nabi Baksh Police on Wednesday was able to obtain a 14-day physical remand of Lyari gang war criminal Uzair Baloch, reported Dunya News.
The clauses referring to anti-terrorism and having explosive material in custody were added in the case number 2016/67 against Baloch. The case was registered on the behalf of Rangers.
According to the police, ammunition used for vandalism including a Light Machine Gun (LMG), rocket launcher, arm launcher and 500 bullets were recovered from the Kachra Kundi area upon the indication of Baloch. This ammunition was buried in the ground.
As of now, Baloch is under the custody of the Rangers for 90 days however this period is ending after 2 day’s time. Baloch will be taken into custody by the police after his period of remand given to the Rangers expires.
Baloch has earlier been named in 55 other cases apart from this one.
