According to sources, Governor Sindh Dr.Ishrat ul Ibad Khan has reached Islamabad to tender his resignation from the office of Governor but the President would not accept his resignation. After continuous incidents of target-killing and violence, Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has started revisiting its policy of coalition support as well as resignation of its provincial governor. Whereas the president has immediately summoned the Governor Sindh to Islamabad, Dunya News reported on Sunday. According to the sources a meeting of the MQM coordination committee is being held simultaneously in London and Karachi in which deep concern and grief was expressed on the recent incidents of target-killing and violence that have claimed at least 24 lives. According to the sources governor Sindh Dr.Ishrat ul Ibad Khan telephoned the Prime Minister and expressed his party concerns over target-killing. Sources also revealed that MQM has decided to take stern measures if the government ignores their concerns and reservations.
