In view of the worsening law and order situation in Karachi and the ongoing verbal war between two coalition parties MQM and PPP, Governor Sindh Ishratul Ibad convened a meeting of the Core Committees of both the parties at the Governor House on Friday (today). The meeting would likely to mull over the collective law and order situation in the province, targeted killing and performance of alliance besides other significant issues. Sources said that the session would also take up the ongoing verbal war between MQM and PPP and the subsequent role played by the Sindh government in this regard. In the meantime, a political activist among three killed in the ongoing spate of targeted killing.Some unidentified people gunned down a youth Ehsan at Federal B Area near Bhai Jan Chowk, while Asim Alam (28) was killed in Orangi Town. He was said to be an activist of MQM. In Saddar, robbers shot dead 25-year-old Asghar Ali on resisting a dacoity bid. Two including Shahnawaz and Muhammad Ahmed got injured in firing by some unknown men.
