Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif telephoned Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday and regretted over the derogatory statements issued by PML-N leaders against Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He extended his apology to the Prime Minister and PPP leadership over the remarks and said that his party leaders would be careful in the future. It is worthy to note here that the PML-N leaders Khawaja Saad Rafeeq, Senator Pervez Rasheed and others in a gathering issued offensive remarks about PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shah Nawaz Bhutto and President Zardari. Earlier, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khoru sought apology from PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif over the remarks issued by his party man.
