Pakistan Day: President gives away awards to 54 officers, soldiers
Laurels given to PAF officers over commendable service
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Mamnoon Hussain on the occasion of Pakistan Day (March 23) distributed awards among Pakistan Air Force (PAF) soldiers of varying ranks, reported Dunya News.
According to sources from PAF, President Mamnoon handed over the Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) award to Air marshall Mohammed Iqbal and Air marshall Farooq Habib.
The recipients of Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) include Air vice-marshal Mohammed Khalid Dabir, Air vice-marshal Mohammad Haseeb Paracha, Air commodore Noor Elahi, Air commodore Naveed Haider Minhas and 17 others.
Whereas, the recipients of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) include Group captain Sohail Ajaib, Wing commodore Zulfiqar Ayub, Wing commodore Nauman Khalil, Wing commodore Tanveer Ahsan, Wing commodore Sohail Akbar and 15 others.
The president handed over Sitara-e-Basalat to Flight lieutenant Hussain Mussdiq and gave the Tamgha-e-Basalat to Wing commodore Yasir Shafiq Malik, Squadron leader Tariq Waheed, Squadron leader Furqan Ahmed Latif and 8 others.
President Mamnoon also handed over certificates to 11 other officers.
