Mustafa Kamal likely to reveal new additions to group today

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former Mayor Karachi Mustafa Kamal and his team look set to deal new blows to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as political leaders reorganize their allegiances. Kamal and his team are likely to reveal new addition to their group in an improtant press conference today (Thursday).

Former leader of MQM Anees Qaimkhani has stated that people are contacting him from all over the Sindh province. He added that further ‘wickets will fall’ in the press conference.

Kamal’s new party has already seen the likes of Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Raza Haroon, Waseem Aftab and Iftikhar Alam, all dissenting from their former party MQM.

Earlier, in an exclusive talk with Dunya News, former Mayor Karachi had stated that he was aware of actions during his time in MQM which was primarily the reason why he had left the party. Kamal added that his new party’s rally in April will be historic. 

Meanwhile former MQM senior leader Raza Haroon stated that apart from MQM, influential names of other political parties were also in contact with him.
