Kamal has also announced to hold a big rally in second week of April

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former mayor Mustafa Kamal claimed that an influential member of Sindh Assembly has approached him for participation in his newly established party, Dunya News reported Monday.

Kamal has called a press conference today in the afternoon.

The alleged new member is likely to formally break the news today in the press conference. On the other hand, Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Raza Haroon has arrived in Karachi ahead of Kamal s second key press conference.

Kamal has also announced to hold a big rally in second week of April.

Meanwhile throngs of supporters including Ali Mohammad Memon and colourful personalities like ‘Chacha Pakistani’ kept arriving at the former Mayor’s residence even late in the night to show their support and congratulate him.

In response to MQM’s leader Farooq Sattar’s statement, the former mayor had earlier said that Sattar is very oppressed but innocent, he still has to stay in MQM. He further said that he wants to congratulate the captive-members who have been owned by MQM for the very first time.

Kamal said that he never talked to former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza and stated that people were supporting him as a new hope. The ex-mayor added that he would visit every village of the country.

He stated that MQM does not want to redeem its workers but wants to keep them behind bars for a reason. He explained that he has never supported the criminals and has always thought about the reasons that made them criminals.

He also said that young workers were not born terrorists or a target killers and asked as to who showed them the extremist way.
He had revealed that the MQM leader used be intoxicated during his speeches and used to hurl abuses.

Kamal added that the MQM’s head used to make controversial statements without proofs for which different members had to apologize or protest in favour of it the next day.

The former mayor had asked why can’t MQM chief come clean to party’s followers just like he did to Scotland Yard.

Earlier this month, Kamal along with Anees Qaimkhani laid foundation of a new political party after alleging MQM chief Altaf Hussain to be working in interest of Indian intelligence agency. The MQM leader, residing in London, was once again alleged of sanctioning murders of locals in Karachi and misguiding youth to destructive paths.
