ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar on Thursday said that Pakistan cricket team will not go to India to play World T20 until Indian central government gives security guarantee, Dunya News reported.
Nisar said that playing at Dharamsala was a security risk but the International Cricket Council (ICC) acted promptly and changed the match venue to Kolkata.
Interior Minister said that every Pakistani wishes that the team should go to India and participate in the mega event but we cannot send the team unless foolproof security to the Pakistani side is not guranteed by the Indian government.
Yesterday, ICC announced to change the venue of the match to be played between India and Pakistan on March 19 from Dharamsala s Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium to Kolkata s Eden Gardens.
