Karachi: Prime suspect of Arshad Pappu murder case arrested
Suspect Chand Khan Niazi, along with his partners in crime, had abducted Pappu from DHA, Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A prime suspect in the murder case of Karachi’s notorious gangster Arshad Pappu, was arrested Thursday from PIB Colony of Karachi during a raid by law enforcement agencies. The key accused, former police Inspector Chand Khan Niazi, had been hiding in Mianwali for a long time and had recently arrived in Karachi where he was apprehended.
Two other accomplices of the accused, Yousaf Baloch and Javed Baloch are already in jail. Suspect Niazi, along with his partners in crime, had abducted Pappu from Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Karachi in March 2013.
The felons worked for Lyari gangwar leader Uzair Baloch and had taken Rs. 30 million from Baloch for handing over Pappu to him.
Pappu was brutally murdered by Baloch and his associates. He had earlier been acquitted in murder case of Faiz Muhammad alias Mama Faizu who was the father of Uzair Baloch.
