Islamabad district administration recovers 2000kg unhygienic meat, arrest 10 suspects
The administration on a tip-off raided an undercover slaughter house near motorway.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Islamabad district administration on Thursday raided a slaughter house and recovered 2000kg unhygienic meat and ten suspects from it.
On the directions of interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, district administration is conducting operations against contaminants.
The administration on a tip-off raided an undercover slaughter house near motorway and confiscated the meat.
On the other hand, Assistant Commissioner Shalimar Hassan Waqar Cheema got information that meat of dead animals is also being brought from Jhang in a vehicle.
Police while taking action seized the vehicle and confiscated heavy amount of meat from it.
Hassan Waqar Cheema stated that dead animals brought from various cities were slaughtered and then sold on various shops in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Moreover ten people working in the slaughter house were also arrested and case was registered against them.
