ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An Iranian venture called the ‘Wall of Kindness’ has also emerged in Islamabad and Gujranwala.
In Islamabad the wall has been created by the students of International Islamic University whereas in Gujranwala it has been setup on the Sui Gas Road by the local youngsters.

The wall first appeared in the Iranian city Mashhahd in December last year after which the idea spread like a fire in various other countries.
The wall has previously been setup in Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta and Sahiwal.

The idea of the initiative is to provide clothes, shoes and other necessary items to the poor who do not ask for it otherwise and are quite hesitant.
Few hooks and hangers are fixed onto the wall on which the people hang their used belongings. The needy ones visit the wall and take pieces of their choice.

A slogan written on the wall “Donate everything for helpless people” motivates the nation to take part in the great cause.
