Inside story of Karachi Central Jail's fugitive accused of abduction has been revealed
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The inside story of the fugitive from Karachi Central Jail has been revealed on Tuesday, the man suspected of abduction escaped from the central gate of Jail using a rickshaw, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, the negligence of the police led to the escape of a person suspected of abduction for ransom. The fugitive was working as a mason in the Jail for last two years. The fugitive went to a DSP’s house for masonry. Sources say that he was neither wearing the prison uniform nor he was chained. Itwas the responsibility of a Head Constable and three personnel to have an eye on him.
A head constable and three more police officials were responsible for keeping an eye on the prisoner. Sources say it was due to their negligence of which the prisoner took advantage and fled. A statement of the official appointed at the central gate has also been taken. The official says that he had inquired from the prisoner that where is he going. According to the statement, the prisoner responded that he is going home as he has been freed.
The Home Minister of Sindh has taken notice of the incident of escape of the prisoner from the Central Jail. Three police officials have been arrested after the incident and a case has been filed.
