Summary Casualties reported in Mardan, Quetta; loss reported to be worth millions of rupees
LAHORE (Web Desk, Dunya News) - Fire erupting as a result of gas leakage on the second floor of a house in Sheikh Maltoon Town of Mardan, on Monday, left 4 persons dead and 2 critically injured.
Leaving the gas heater burning in a closed room at a house of Quetta resulted in the death of a person and fainting of another, both of whom were brothers.
A fire incident was reported in a plastic factory situated on Sui Gas Road of Gujranwala. Massive financial loss occurred as a result of the incident but, fatefully, closure of the factory prevented any loss of life.
An office of a private organisation located on the 9th floor of a building on I. I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi, was engulfed in flames because of reasons unknown as of now but a timely response from the Fire Brigade Department ensured that the fire was put to an end within 30 minutes.
