Summary MQM assembly members said people of Pakistan being kept away from the fruit of reducing oil prices
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members of the assembly have on Tuesday said that the people of Pakistan are being kept away from the fruits of the global reduction in oil prices. They said that it was the primary duty of the government to make the people ejoy the benefits of the reduction in oil prices, reported Dunya News.
In a joint statement, the MQM members of Sindh Assembly stated that the government must immediately reduce the fares of buses, trains, rickshaws and the air planes. They further stated that the government increased all these fares every time the prices in petrol rose in the international market, causing an increase in the prices of all the daily use commodities.
The MQM members said that the oil prices in the international have fallen very low and the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan should also be lowered with the same ratio so that people could also get the relief.
