KARACHI (Dunya News) – Miscreant who was alleged of firing during PIA employees’ protest on February 2 turns out to be a protester mistaken as attacker in the footage, Dunya News reported Saturday.

Joint Action Committee (JAC) has presented a PIA worker before the media today in Karachi, claiming that Rangers have been misled in the investigations as the person pointed out works for the company and was present at scene to protest.

Earlier on February 2, two employees of the national airline were killed in a firing incident as the protesters rallied towards Jinnah terminal.

Rangers had released footage of the incident pointing out the miscreant. The paramilitary force requested the locals to help identify the attacker.

PIA employees are protesting against proposed privatization of the company.
