Summary Doing duty on government salary at non-authorised officials' houses is condemnable: Ch Nisar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday said that all the policemen installed with higher officials of the department have been called back. He was chairing a high level meeting in Islamabad to review law and order situation, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, Ch Nisar told the meeting that around 100 policemen, installed at the houses of retired and serving police officials, have been called back. The policemen working with such officials from years have been ordered to come back within one week, Nisar said during the meeting.
The meeting reviewed law and order situation, the security arrangements put in place for educational institutes, media houses and other important buildings, various measures being taken to further improve policing in the federal capital and the progress made so far on registration of International NGOs.
The meeting was attended by Coordinator of National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), Chief Commissioner, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, Zonal SPs and senior officials of Interior Ministry.
