Summary Rs. 15.6 billion for 35 Cusecs water for operations of Thar Coal power units, approved
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC), on Friday, approved a three year Emergency Plan for Polio Eradication costing over 31.8 billion rupees. The meeting was chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, ECNEC approved 128 MW Keyal Khwar Hydro Power Project costing over 26 billion rupees in Kohistan district. The meeting approved 15.6 billion rupees for availability of 35 Cusecs of water for operations of Thar Coal power units.
Punjab Economic Opportunities Programme at a cost of about 8.8 billion rupees was also approved during the meeting.
