Summary Police officials say that an interrogation with the suspect was underway.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Former Federal Minister Mirza Nasir Baig’s brother Mirza Akbar Baig was arrested by the police Wednesday for giving fraudulent cheques to his former wife.
Akbar’s former wife had submitted a complaint saying that her ex-husband had submitted her two cheques worth Rs. 50 lac each which were fake, upon which police conducted action and registered a case for fraud against the former Minister’s brother and arrested him.
Police officials say that an interrogation with the suspect was underway.
