Summary High-level meeting was chaired by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting, discussing security of the educational institutions, reported Dunya News.
The meeting was attended by NACTA Coordinator, NADRA Chairman, Passport DG, Islamabad IG and other police officials. The meeting discussed the security of the educational institutions. Security of the media houses also came under discussion and Interior Minister suspended SP, DSP and SHO for failing to stop and inquire the grenade attack on private media news channel.
Interior Minister ordered preparing charge sheet against all three officers after departmental inquiry. He said that the traditional policing can neither control the terrorism nor can it improve the law and order situation.
The fake NADRA Identity cards were also discussed in the meeting. Interior Minister ordered strong action on the matter.
Strategy for the negotiations with European Union (EU) in Brussels was also finalized during the meeting.
