Summary One person was killed in 5 other sustained injuries in firing incident in various parts of Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Firing incidents in different parts of Karachi on Sunday killed one person and wounded five other, Dunya News reported.
According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire in Manghu Pir area and injured three persons, including a woman. The injured were identified as Mahmood, Hafeez and Raj Bibi. The rescue teams have shifted the injured to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Police have reached the spot and started the investigation.
Some unidentified gunmen opened fire and critically injured a man named Hamanyun in Azizabad area. Hamanyun was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Two more persons were wounded in firing incident in Korangi Sardhe Teen (Three and a half) area. Police sources said that both persons were wounded while resisting a ribbery attempt.
On the other hand, police have arrested a suspects in injured condition after an encounter in Khayaban-e-Tanzeem area of Guzri.
