FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Temperature has fallen further below 11 degrees Celsius following the first winter rain, Dunya News reported Wednesday.
Faisalabad’s temperature has been reported 10 degrees Celsius today.
On Tuesday, light rain in different parts of the country including Rawalpindi and Islamabad turned the weather chilly.
According to Met office, partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain and snowfall over the hills is expected during the next 12 hours.
The office stated that rain with snowfall over hills is likely at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, DI Khan Divisions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
Tourist destination Kalam in Swat district received one-inch snowfall turning the weather extremely cold.
First spell of rain also gave weather a fresh outlook.
A western disturbance is affecting upper parts of the country and is likely to persist for next 24 hours.
