Summary 9 arrested in Karachi including 5 terrorists with weapons and hand grenades
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Intelligence institutions arrested terrorists suspected to have links with Daesh during a raid in Clifton area on Tuesday.
According to the sources the accused was a prayer leader at a mosque. Several SIMs and mobile phones have been recovered from the accused. The accused has been shifted to an undisclosed location.
In Gulistan-e-Johar’s block 11 police arrested 4 suspected terrorists in a raid. According to Senior Superintendant of Police (SSP) East Javed Jaskani, four hand grenades, weapons and looted gold was recovered from the arrested terrorists. The accused also confessed of robbery in at least 20 houses in posh localities.
Meanwhile Rangers have arrested four suspects from different parts of the city during several raids. Rangers’ spokesperson said that arrested suspects include robbers and extortionists. Weapons were also recovered from the suspects.
