ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The law enforcement on Tuesday arrested at least 25 persons on intelligence tip-offs and suspicion of militancy after conducting a search operation in the federal capital, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a major search operation carried out jointly by the police, Rangers and intelligence institutions resulted in arrest of 25 suspects including foreigners. The law enforcement seized a heavy cache of weaponry from the suspects.
Reportedly, the raids were made on intelligence tip-offs in the wee hours on Tuesday at residential areas of Nilor, Koral and Lohi Bhir.
A heavy cache of illegal weaponry has been recovered from those arrested including sniper guns, 12-bullet guns, daggers and thousands of bullets.
