KARACHI (Dunya News) – Medical test of alleged terror facilitator Dr Asim Hussain was conducted at Jinnah Hospital, Dunya News reported Tuesday.
Law enforcement agencies maintained a strict security plan for arrival of former petroleum minister at the hospital. The personnel brought the terror accused for a medical checkup after an anti-terrorism court (ATC) had ordered the authorities to approach accountability court (AC) in the matter.
A complete neural scan was carried out at Jinnah Hospital’s MRI Ward.

Tight security arrangements were ensured in and around the hospital
Earlier in the past week, Dr Asim had stated during hearing of terror case in ATC that he needs to visit a hospital for checkup.
The former minister is facing a terror case that was registered in North Nazimabad Police Station in November 2015. The accused is alleged of treating target killers and militants in his hospital in Karachi. The alleged terror facilitator provided safe havens to terrorists in name of medical treatment.
Pakistan Rangers had apprehended the alleged culprit in August 2015 from office of Sindh Higher Education Commission (HEC). The accused is the Chairman of the Sindh HEC.
On the other hand, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is also hounding the alleged terror sponsor. He is alleged of corruption worth millions of Rupees.
In one of the recent hearings of the case, the prosecutor had stated that 80 percent transactions were traced while evidences of money laundering had also surfaced.
