Once again two Eids would be celebrated in the country as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced to celebrate Eid on Friday while it would be observed on Saturday in other provinces. The Reut-e-Hilal Committee which met in Karachi for moon sighting announced that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday as no moon sighting testimony was received from anywhere. The announcement was made by the Chairman of Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneeb- ur- Rehman at the local office of the Meteorological Department. All the Zonal Ruet-i-Hilal Committees met at their respective headquarters. Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced that Shawwal moon has been sighted in the province and Eid would be celebrated on Friday. Senior Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour said that the provincial government has decided to celebrate Eid on Friday following the decision of the Zonal Ruet Hilal Committee, adding that the province will celebrate the festivity with simplicity.
