KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least five criminals, including four gang war accused and a dacoit, were killed in separate police encounters in Karachi on Friday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, four gang war accused, including two key commanders, were killed in two separate police encounters in City Town area. The dead accused were identified as Mullah Naveed, Jehanzaib alias Lahoti, Sheharyar alias Shaira and Jehangir.
In a separate development, a dacoit was killed in a shootout with police in Guzirry area while his accomplice managed to escape from the scene.
The law enforcement agency conducted an operation near Muhammadi Ground area of Malir and arrested five suspects. Police have also arrested two suspects during an operation in Garden area.
On the other hand, Rangers conducted an operation in Lyari and arrested two gang war commanders, identified as Jibran and Basid alias Mout. Rangers have also arrested two accused on banned outfit from Orangi Town and also recovered arms from their possession.
