OKARA (Dunya News) – The family of the slain brothers staged protests in Lahore after the police allegedly abducted and shot them dead in an allegedly fake shoot out, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the police allegedly took two brothers Pervez and Aamir in custody on suspicion of robbery and murder and shot them dead in an apparently staged encounter.

Upon getting news, the enraged protestors stormed at the police station and injured 4 personnel. The Lahore High Court (LHC) has summoned the District Police Officer (DPO) today.

In a heart wrenching incident, the police of Okara made a mockery of the justice system after assuming the roles of complainant, prosecutor and the judge when the allegedly executed two brothers accused of robbery and murder.

The family, when became aware of the police’s intention resorted to raising the issue in front of the media. They staged a protest on the midnight of Tuesday and Wednesday outside the Lahore Press Club but no one paid heed.

Then, after three hours, the family heard their loved ones had been shot dead. They say their loved ones were killed in a staged shoot out.

Talking exclusively on Dunya News’ show Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath, Aamir and Pervez’s sister Aneesa narrated the story and said that they were threatened by the police from the start.

She said the police told them that her brothers will be shot down in police encounters.
