ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday gave January 2, 2016 deadline to the successful independent candidates of second phase of Sindh’s local body polls for their inclusion in any political party.
According to ECP spokesperson, the independent candidates have been directed to provide the returning officer with an acceptance certificate from the political party which they have joined.
Furthermore, the candidates will not be able to join any party after the expiry of fixed time period.
