LAHORE (Dunya News) – Religious celebrations amidst carols and sermons are ongoing in the provincial capital on Christmas, Dunya News reported Friday.
Prayers are ongoing in different churches and places of worship across Lahore.
The provincial government has made sure a fool proof plan on Christmas. Christmas sermons largely base on teachings of Hazrat Essa (AS) and religious leaders urge the followers to not deviate from the path of virtue.
Special prayers today also include seeking blessings for Pakistan and its security.

On the other hand in Faisalabad, leading prayer gathering was held at the Bishop House. Bishop Joseph Arshad offered a special prayer for security of the country and the nation. The Bishop also prayed for continuation of success of Pakistan Army in Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
At least 4,000 security personnel have been deployed while roads leading to different churches have been sealed.
