Summary Participants deal expressed satisfaction over the preparedness of the armed forces
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – A meeting of Joint-Chief of Staff committee was held under General Rashad Mahmood on Tuesday. It was decided in the meeting that operation against terrorism will continue till the very end. The Army leadership expressed determination to weed out extremism and aid the government, reports Dunya News.
General Rashid Mehmood chaired the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee where the heads of the three armed forces, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman and Chief of Navy Admiral Zakaullah also took part.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), country s internal security situation and progress of Operation Zarb-e-Azb was reviewed. Participants expressed satisfaction over the preparedness of the armed forces in dealing with internal and external challenges.
It was decided in the meeting that under the comprehensive security strategy for every danger will be answered with full force and support will be given to the government in this regard.
