DALBANDIN (Dunya News) – Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence agencies in a joint operation in Balochistan killed one terrorist and recovered huge cache of weapons from Pak-Afghan border city Dalbandin on Monday.
According to details, the action was carried out on a tip-off during which the militants opened fire on the security forces retaliating to which one terrorist was shot dead.
The exchange of fire continued for three hours after which FC officials took weapon filled vehicle in their custody which included one rocket launcher, 10 kalashnikovs, 10 Rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) rockets, 10 RPG fuse, 30 hand grenades, 20 hand grenade fuse and one sniper rifle.
FC spokesperson stated that the arms were being brought from across the border for a terror bid in Makran city.
On the other hand, two FC officials were injured in a blast in Margat area of Balochistan.
The blast occurred through a remote controlled device which detonated the bomb planted at the roadside.
The explosion injured Mir Zaman and Zakir who were immediately shifted to CMH for medical assistance.
Doctors state that the condition of Mir Zaman is critical as he has received wounds on his right leg however; Zakir has obtained minor injuries and is out of danger.
Earlier in August, as many as seven militants were apprehended from Dalbandin and explosives were seized from their possession.
FC and intelligence agencies have been involved in several operations in Balochistan s different areas inclduing Dalbandin for past years.
Balochistan is believed to be interfered by operatives of foreign intelligence agencies including Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). Pakistan has proofs of Indian involvement in terror plots in different parts including Balochistan and Sindh.
United Nations (UN) Secretary General Ban-Ki moon was also handed over dossiers of evidences against India in October.
