Bride, groom among 6 killed in Sukkur road accident
Six members of a same family were killed when their car collided with a coach in Sukkur on Sunday.
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Six members of the same family were killed when the car they were travelling in collided with a passenger coach coming from opposite direction at the Shikarpur Road near City Bypass in Sukkur on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, groom Usman Abbasi and bride Bushra Abbasi were returning to their home after Valima reception along with other family members when their car collided with a passenger coach coming from opposite direction, killing six people.
The deceased were identified as groom Usman Abbasi, bride Bushra Abbasi, groom’s sisters Huma Abbasi, Kiran Abbasi and two other members of their family.

The driver of the passenger coach managed to escape from the scene after the accident. Police have reached the spot and started investigation.
Deadly accidents are common on roads across Pakistan due to bad road infrastructure and rampant disregard of traffic laws.
Over 9,000 road accidents are reported to the police every year, killing on average around 5,000 people, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
