Summary Sindh government is trying to influence investigation officer and witnesses: Rangers
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers filed a petition in court on Saturday to stop Sindh government from meddling in Dr. Asim case. This is third application from Rangers against Sindh government, reported Dunya News.
According to details, DSR Rangers Sindh, Anayatullah Durrani filed an application in Sindh High Court (SHC) stating that Sindh government is trying to influence the case of Dr. Asim while investigation officer and witnesses are being pressurized. The application gave the argument that when Challan were almost ready for the case, Sindh government changed the investigation officer and now there is the risk of Public Prosecutor also being changed by the government.
On the other hand, the opposition parties of Sindh are making a grand alliance on issue of Rangers’ powers in the province. An important meeting of the opposition parties has also been called to discuss the issue. According to sources, Sadaruddin Rashidi, Zulfiqar Mirza, Arbab rahim, Ghous Ali Shah and others are expected to participate in the meeting.
