Army Chief heads Corps Commanders Conference, expresses solidarity with martyrs of APS Peshawar

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Corps Commanders Conference was held today where growing geo-strategic challenges were discussed while solidarity was expressed with the martyrs of the families. General Raheel Sharif said that the martyrs of APS Peshawar gave great sacrifices which will not be wasted, reports Dunya News.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), participants of the meeting were briefed about internal and external situation. Conference participants also reviewed the emerging geo-strategic challenges while achievements in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb were also discussed.

Army Chief said APS martyrs gave great sacrifices against terrorism adding that their sacrifices will not go to waste. Raheel Sharif expressed his resolve against fighting terrorism. He said that for the completion of objectives, the country needs to be stabilized adding that it would be the best way to pay tribute to the martyrs.
