Summary 'Martyrs Never Die'
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – On December 16, as the day unfolded two sisters did not see it coming in anyway that their sons would not return from school.
Ilyan and Hamza, born to two sisters who were married to two brothers had gone to school as routine practice. Ilyan was a class-9 student while Ayesha and Fozan’s only son. Ayesha remembers she had scolded her son a day before the attack.

A year after the tragedy, she is waiting for the ‘nightmare’ to end. She hopes that it would turn out to be a ‘dream’ and one day it would end. Ilyan’s sister continued her studies in the Army Public School. The minor, little aware of the magnitude of loss still misses her brother.

Hamza, born to Kamran and Najma also lost life in the massacre. The martyr had performed Hajj a year before the attack.

Najma remembers late Hamza, "The way he embraced martyrdom after having the honour of performing Hajj is pride of the family"
The only fact that is holding the grieving parents after the incurable loss is “Martyrs Never Die.” Kamran, Najma s husband said that it does not feel like a year but hundred years when he has not hugged his son.
