MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said that the party will present a bill in the National Assembly and the Senate for legislation of land reforms in an attempt to end the feudalism from the country. Altaf announced this in a telephonic address to Rabta Committee members, Haqparast Senators and members national and provincial assemblies. Altaf emphasized that a limit of land ownership should be fixed through legislation in the Parliament and additional lands should be distributed among farmers and the poor. He also suggested collecting the details of those politicians who became the richest persons overnight. He said that when he talked about corrupt feudal system and corrupt political culture, everyone started mudslinging MQM with the propaganda of supporting imposition of martial law.
