Summary Nation still remembers the heart touching APS attack and united against terrorism.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The nefarious intentions of terrorists involved in massive massacre of Army Public School (APS) students and staffers have failed to rout the zeal and determination of the students.
The ferocious slaughter of APS students and faculty has hit one year but the enthusiasm of the children is still higher than Himalayas.
The students have shown their willingness and keenness towards education and have only given the message of bravery to the entire world.

They pledged to take revenge from terrorists through the power of pen and books.
Talking to Dunya News exclusively, an APS survivor Kashan Zaheer told that he had dreamt of all the APS attack two days before the real incident happened.
Disheartened but courageous Kashan said that he has lost his friends in the massacre but he is brave enough to carry on his education.

Meanwhile, parents of minor Khaula still mourn over their daughter’s death. They said that they took their little fairy to school on very first day but brought her dead body back to home.

On December 16, 2014, a team of Taliban gunmen coldly slaughtered 150 people, more than 130 of them children aged between nine and 19, at a school in Peshawar in an assault that shocked and outraged a country already scarred by nearly a decade of extremist attacks.
A little more than 1,000 students and staff were registered at the school, which is part of a network run by the military, although the surrounding area was not heavily fortified at the time of the attack.

The army spokesman, Lt. Gen. Asim Bajwa, had earlier said that 12 suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack. They all belonged to the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Security officials say that the attack was planned by Mullah Fazlullah, the TTP chief, who fled to Afghanistan after a massive military operation in Swat valley in 2009.
Four militants who were part of the APS attack plot were hanged in Kohat prison as per Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif directives.
