Summary No reference has been filed against Dr Asim yet but NAB is investigating his case, says DG NAB
Karachi: (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General (DG) Sirajul Naeem has said that NAB officers are not under any pressure, reported Dunya News.
Addressing Association of Builders and Developers’ event in Karachi, Naeem said that no reference has been filed against Dr Asim yet but NAB is investigating his case.
He further said that highest number of frauds has been detected in real estate business. Government employees are also involved in land grabbing, he added.
23 thousand acres land worth 1400 billion rupees has been reclaimed and the land will be sold in open auction, he said.
“No Objection Certificate (NOC) from civil association has now been made mandatory for construction of buildings near Airport”.
Naeem also said that NAB’s action does not affect any legal activities. Complaints are being rectified despite lack of resources.
