KARACHI (Dunya News) – Interior Ministry on Monday has compiled a revised list of 28 banned outfits’ operatives after attack on Military Police (MP) vehicle claimed lives of two personnel.

In the latest development, key militant named Attaur Rehman alias Naeem Bukhari’s head money is set Rs 20 million.

The ministry had earlier offered reward of Rs 50 lac for information about Rehman however, the revised list states Rs 20 million. Head money of Farooq Bhatti has been set at Rs 15 million.

Terrorist wanted in killings of police among other target killings, Irshadullah alias Niyaz’s head money is increased to Rs 75 lac from Rs 25 lac.

The list further states names of Arshad alias Lalu and Sabir alias Manna Bablu with revised head money of Rs 50 lac each. The ministry has instructed the people to immediately inform local police station about presence of any of the named terrorists.

Earlier on December 1, armed motorcyclists had opened fire on a MP vehicle. The attack claimed lives of two personnel. Sindh Police Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Haider Jamali and Additional IG had reached the site after learning about the news.

The law enforcers had said that they had traced route of the attackers with help of eye witnesses. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif had vowed to hunt the terrorists while Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif said that war on terror would continue until elimination of every single insurgent.

A case was registered after the attack in Paradi Police Station.

Attacks on paramilitary force and law enforcement agencies are being seen since the start of targeted operation in Karachi. The Karachi operation aims at eradication of crime and political parties funded armed wings.

Involvement of Indian intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) has also been witnessed in the recent past when the Interior Ministry had traced calls and collected evidences against the neighbouring county.
