The head of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of Sialkot's two brothers' killings, DIG Mushtaq Sakhera announced the completion of investigation.Sakhera was addressing from a press conference in Sialkot, where he informed that seventeen out of eighteen culprits have been apprehended by authorities. He added that the investigation team found involvement of ten policemen in the incident.The Additional IG said that the remand of the culprits along with recording their statements would be carried out tomorrow, which will conclude the investigation.Sukhera said that four policemen have been declared absconders; the remaining six have surrendered. He said the statements of the arrested policemen have been recorded. All those involve will be punished, Suhera said.Sakhera, replying to a question about former Sialkot DPO, Waqar Ahmed Chohan, he informed that DPO was put under house arrest before the other policemen involved in the case were arrested.Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that the investigation report of the Sialkot lynching will be presented to the Punjab Government on Monday (30th August).
