As the political parties’ activities heat up in Karachi for the local body elections, PML-N also started its election campaign from District East. A rally was carries out by the party from Karachi’s Lasbela Chowk. Carrying party flags and electoral symbol ‘tiger’ (stuffed), the workers raised slogans in the favour of the party candidates.
According to the schedule, Nehal Hashmi had to lead the rally and it had to end at Press Club but the rally was ended at Quaid’s tomb probably due to low attendance or some other reason.
