KARACHI (Dunya News) – A sudden fire that erupted in a garment factory in Karachi’s Sher Shah on Saturday morning has turned the items worth million into ashes.

According to details, as many as seven fire tenders successfully extinguished the flame after the struggle of one hour however, the rescue officer stated that the huge blaze has badly gutted the whole floor.



He claimed that the factor was perhaps the biggest garment depot in the metropolis.

A firefighter at the scene said that the building could not be recommissioned for at least a week for business.

Meanwhile, the shop owner estimated that the cost of the total damage would certainly run into billions of rupees as the warehouse was full of garments at the time of fire.
