TURBAT (Dunya News) – Atleast three Frontier Constabulary (FC)officials sustained injuries during remote-controlled blast in Tump area of Turbat today (Saturday).
According to details, FC troop was enroute to Mand from Turbat when it was attacked by unknown assailants on reaching Tump by a bomb fixed at the roadside.
The bomb exploded through a remote-controlled device as a result of which FC vehicle got damaged and three officials got wounded.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospital and are said to be out of danger.
FC cordoned off the area after the blast and initiated search to nab the culprits.
Meanwhile in Quetta, plan to attack FC checkpost was foiled at Barori road. Unidentified miscreants installed remote-controlled bomb in small water coolers and placed them on the checkpost.
FC officials on spotting the suspected cooler called Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) who defused the bomb.
BDS officials state that the bomb weighed five kilogram and could have caused great financial and life loss on explosion.
