Enraged natives protest against gas load shedding in Multan
Manzoorabad is facing gas outage for past four months due to under-construction metrobus project.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Enraged locals on Thursday staged a protest in Multan against prolonged gas load-shedding due to under construction metrobus project.
The protesters blocked main Hafiz Jamal Road by burning tyres and chanted slogans against the government for three hours.
They said that Manzoorabad is facing gas outage for past four months due to metrobus project while the residents of Qadirabad and Jaleelabad are also forced to live without gas.
They added that no action has been taken from any government official for the restoration of gas so far.
The protesting community further demanded early solution to the problem or else they will besiege the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) office.
