Islamabad LB polls: Allotment of electoral symbols to candidates starts
The local administration has also announced to display the final list of candidates today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The preparations for local bodies election in Islamabad has entered into final phase as the process of allotting electoral symbols to the participating candidates has kicked off today (Wednesday).
All the political parties are ardently contesting in LB polls to snatch the victory as the elections will be held on as many as 650 seats in 50 union councils on November 30 while results will be declared on the 3rd of December.
The local administration has also announced to display the final list of candidates today however, security personnel have also been directed to maintain the law and order situation in the metropolis.
According to details, CCTV cameras and deployment of Pakistan Army soldiers would be ensured on the day of election.
