ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has refused to share details of tax returns and assets of sons of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday, reported Dunya News.
In a letter addressed to Chairman Secretariat PTI, it has been stated that under Income Tax Ordinace 2001 Section 216, personal information cannot be divulged.
It is pertinent to mention here that PTI had earlier written a letter to FBR and requested the authority to disclose the assets under Article 19 of constitution of Pakistan.
