MULTAN (Dunya News) – An 18-year-old young man was killed today (Friday) by the collision of Bahauddin Zakria University (BZU) bus.
According to details, Aqib was riding his motorcycle when he was fatally struck by BZU’s shuttle bus in Chungi No.8 area.
After learning about the news, relatives and residents of the area reached the spot and while breaking the window panes of the bus protested against the incident.
Enraged protesters blocked the road whilst placing the body on the road. The bus driver Noor Muhammad tried to escape from the scene but was caught by a citizen who handed him over to the police later.
The protesters blocked the road for traffic for about two hours and demanded to alter the bus route.
Relatives stated that Aqib got married eight months ago and was on his way to have breakfast.
