Khurshid Shah advises Imran to go abroad instead of arguing with media

Summary Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah said the politicians are public representatives.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Wednesday advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to go abroad instead of getting involved in arguments with media persons.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Shah said the politicians are public representatives and there is nothing personal between them. 

The remarks came a day after Khan harshly criticized a journalist for asking an intruding question about his ex-wife Reham Khan.

Giving his views on PTI’s performance in the first phase of local government elections, Khurshid Shah said that PTI is facing failure in Punjab as independent candidates secured more votes in the by-polls.

He also said the graph of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has also dropped in recent days.

To a question, the Opposition Leader stated that PPP cannot afford minus one formula.
